Bettie J. Jones, MA resides in Atlanta, Georgia.  She is author of WHEN THE INVITATIONS STOPPED: Surviving Domestic Violence. The impetus for her book is from a desire to minister to people of faith and assist them in getting help for the issues of domestic violence and abuse. Her book can be purchased from www.amazon.com.

Bettie worked for several years as a research assistant at Grady Hospital - Emory University in Atlanta conducting research and collecting and measuring data on women between the ages of 18 and 64 who attempted suicide as the result of violence perpetrated upon them by people they loved. Among the many responsibilities that she has in her own life and with her profession, she is most excited about engineering the preparation and distribution of gift packages containing hygiene supplies and other personal items to family members who have been violated (either through sexual assault or domestic violence).  She is a comfort to these individuals and to others who are homeless.
